2010 Meeting Schedule:
Fourth Thursday of each month: Kvinnefolk Frokost (Ladies Breakfast) 9:00 a.m. at the Starvin Arvin's, Clifton (Men welcome, too)
June 12, 1 PM. Vestafjell lodge 20
th anniversary celebration. Covenant Presbyterian Church, 237 32 Road, Grand Junction, CO. Membership pins will be awarded. Please plan to attend.June 17, 7:00 PM Board meeting at Gladys Beals home, 2953 Bonito Lane, Grand Junction.
June 24, 9 AM. Ladies Breakfast, men at their own table, Starvin' Arvin's, Clifton, CO.
No lodge meetings in July.
August 8, 2 PM. “Viking Day” Lodge picnic at Hawthorne Park, at 5th St. & Gunnison Ave., Grand Junction, CO. Tom Sorensen with Viking history, trivia, games, prizes, costumes and fun. The Lodge picnic is a member appreciation event, with all food provided by the Lodge
August 19, 7:00 PM Board meeting Location to be determined.
August 26, 9:00AM Ladies Breakfast at Starvin Arvin's, Clifton, CO. Men welcome.
September 12 2:00 PM Lodge Meeting at Zion Lutheran Church, 701 South Junction Ave. in Montrose. election of nominating committee. Lunch will be an old fashioned potluck. Peaches and ice cream provided by the lodge.. Program - The Vasa story.
October 10 2:00 PM Lodge meeting at the Shepard of the Valley Lutheran Church, Clifton, CO. Torsk and Meatball dinner. Baked cod, side dishes and desert. Start your Christmas shopping at our annual silent auction. Program to be determined.
